Inspiration

July 12, 2016 By Tracy

Inspiration - Just Ahead sign

I thought I would take a quick moment to write a little about inspiration and introduce the  Be Inspired section of Healthy Home Principles (HHP) site.  Here I hope to inspire you and even myself to stretch ourselves and make a difference some where.  I hope you will be blessed by this section.

Inspiration?  What inspires you?

Inspiration, where does it come from?

Is it an encouraging word?

A picture or scene?

Perhaps a challenge?

How about a criticism?

Without inspiration the world would be a dull place; don’t you think?  No new inventions, no new art, no new books, no new shoe styles.  I love shoes!  ?  The list is endless, of course, because inspiration affects every facet of our lives.

Yes, life is full of the “whatever’s”

but, we can make a difference no matter where we are by evaluating and then purposefully choosing.

  • Take that encouraging word and let it inspire you to stretch a little further.
  • Witness an act of kindness or mistreatment?  How could you pass that kindness on or make right the ill deed?
  • Did someone or some situation challenge you?  Then let that challenge inspire you to be better.  You know, you are stronger than you think you are.
  • Were you criticized?  What an opportunity to look inside yourself, evaluate, and use it for your good.

Be inspired!

Be inspired to be a better person, eat a little healthier, create a more balanced home.  Even though there will always be challenges, you/me can be the one to make a change and hopefully inspire someone else.  It doesn’t have to be a huge thing; simple is always good in my book.  Simple changes:  Start with a smile. ?  A smile invariably inspires improvement.  Use freshly milled flour to make those cookies for a healthier goody.  Go ahead and do that chore today that seems like such a “chore”.  Little changes may not seem like much, but they can have a huge impact.  You never know how far that little “ripple” will go.

Are you inspired yet?  I am just writing about it!    Let’s go change our little corners of the world!!!
